Candle Safety Instructions

  1. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  2. Never use water to extinguish a candle.
  3. Ensure wicks are upright and trimmed to 7mm (1/4 inch) during use and each time candle is relit.
  4. Do not burn a Glasshouse Fragrances 760g for less than 2 hours or more than 4 hours at a time. Do not burn a Glasshouse Fragrances 380g Candle for less than 1 hour or more than 4 hours at a time. Do not burn a Glasshouse Fragrances 60g Candle for less than 1/2 hour or more than 2 hours at a time.
  5. Stop burning when 10mm (1/2 inch) of un-melted wax remains in the bottom of the glass of your 760g, 380g and 60g Glasshouse Fragrances Candles.
  6. Never move a burning candle. Ensure candle is extinguished, wax is solid and jar is cold before handling.
  7. Glass may become hot. Burn candle on an appropriate flat heat-resistant surface.
  8. Avoid using in drafty areas, near an open window, air duct or fan.
  9. Keep away from children, pets and flammable materials.
  10. Do not use lid to extinguish candle.

 

Candle Care Guide - How to get the best performance out of your Glasshouse Fragrances Triple Scented Soy Candle.

 

  1. Prevent soot from forming on the glass by keeping wicks properly placed and trimmed.
  2. Never allow the candle flame to come in contact with the side of the glass.
  3. Do not use if glass is cracked, chipped or broken.
  4. If candle has multiple wicks, they must all be lit every time the candle is used.
  5. Never introduce liquids or foreign objects into candle and keep it free of wick trimmings, matches and any flammable materials.
  6. If the glass becomes blackened while burning, extinguish candle, allow to cool and clean with a dry paper towel.
  7. When not in use, keep candle covered to avoid dust build-up.
  8. Use a candle snuffer to properly extinguish a candle flame. If not available, blow gently and steadily on the flame until it is extinguished.
  9. Container candle burn times will vary. Fragrance, colour, burning habits and environmental conditions affect the time a candle will last.

Here are the typical delivery time frames for orders. While we will do
our utmost to ensure your gift arrives on time, please note that we cannot
guarantee delivery on a specific date.

Auckland 1-2 working days estimate only.

North Island: 1-3 working days estimate only.

South Island: 2-4 working days estimate only.

Rural Delivery: Please allow an additional 1-4
working days for delivery on top of the above time frames. 

At Spoil Me, our gift boxes are typically dispatched on weekdays, as deliveries are not normally made over the weekend. Orders placed during the weekend will be processed and picked up for delivery on the next working day. DELIVERY LIMITATIONS & DETAILS

At Spoil Me, we strive to provide reliable and timely delivery for all
our gift boxes. To ensure smooth shipping, please provide accurate addresses
and contact details when placing your order. Unfortunately, we are unable to
deliver to PO Boxes, and we cannot be held responsible for incorrect addresses
supplied or non-delivery due to locations without safe access. Your attention
to these details helps us deliver your gifts with care and efficiency. Thank
you for your cooperation.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER 

Once the courier collects your gift box, an automatic email containing
your tracking number will be sent to the email address you provided. If, for
any reason, you do not receive this email or accidentally delete it, please
reach out to us at orders@spoilme.co.nz for
assistance. Your tracking number will allow you to monitor the status of your
gift box as it makes its way to you. Please note that for rural deliveries,
packages are handed over to rural delivery teams, and the tracking status may
show as delivered. From this date, please allow an additional 1-4 working days
for the package to reach you. If you have any further questions, feel free to
contact the courier directly, quoting your tracking number, at https://www.posthaste.co.nz/contact_us.html

DAMAGES

If your parcel arrives damaged, it is crucial to report the issue within
24 hours and retain all original packaging. This step is necessary for us to
file a claim on your behalf with the courier. Keeping the original packaging
provides the evidence needed to support the claim process. Once the claim is
filed, we will work diligently to ensure a replacement is arranged if the claim
is successful. Your prompt reporting and cooperation are essential for us to
resolve the issue efficiently and provide you with the best possible service.

NON DELIVERY

To ensure you receive the best service possible, please report any
non-deliveries within 10 days of dispatch. This allows us to swiftly file a
claim on your behalf with the courier and arrange a replacement if the claim is
successful. Your timely communication is greatly appreciated and helps us
ensure you receive your Spoil Me gift box without delay. 

Standard Delivery – Signature Required

Due to unique requirements of Spoil Me gift boxes, all parcels are sent
with a 'signature required.' This means someone must be home to sign for the
parcel. If no one is available, the courier will leave a card to arrange
redelivery or redirection. If you prefer to give the courier authority to leave
the parcel without a signature, simply write in the notes section when placing
an order and provide instructions on where to leave the gift in the ‘Special
Delivery Instructions’ box. By doing so, you agree to take full responsibility
for the parcel once delivered, as it will be left unattended. Spoil Me is not
responsible for what happens to the gift box after delivery. If you are
concerned about the safety of leaving an item unattended, we recommend utilising
our standard shipping 'signature required.'

Hospital/ Units/ Apartments Delivery

When sending a gift to a hospital, couriers deliver to the reception or
designated delivery area. To ensure prompt delivery, please include the
hospital name, ward number, and room number in the shipping address.

For apartment deliveries, please provide any necessary access codes or
additional instructions to help couriers access the building and ensure timely
delivery.

click-and-collect option for our luxury gift boxes from our headquarters
located at A1, 7-9 Tait Place, Rosedale, Albany. Simply select the pick-up option at checkout. Collections are available Monday to Friday (excluding
public holidays) between 9 am and 4 pm. Once your order is ready for collection, you will receive detailed instructions. For urgent pick-ups, please
