A lush dry rose with lovely red berry characteristics infused with the crisp acidity of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The lifted nose shows lime zest, grapefruit, red apple and herbaceous characters, followed by a vibrant palate that delivers lively fruit flavours and juicy acidity. The Sauvignon Blanc gives beautiful lifted aromatics while the Pinot Noir gives it the, lovely blush colour and softens the palate.
Sauvignon Blanc grapes were sourced from both the Awatere and Wairau valleys. The grapes were harvested in the early hours of the morning to retain crisp varietal character. Pinot Noir grapes were handpicked and hand sorted. Very gently pressed the wines were blended 95% Sauvignon Blanc, 5% Pinot Noir to give the wine a beautiful blush colour.
The wine is crisp and dry, making it a lovely aperitif.
